No question Sanwa sticks & buttons make execution on the 1Up cabinets much more accurate. Hard to compete online without them as stock parts are pretty bad.

Now that is interesting about the addition of the spring! hmmmmm I wonder why the 1st or orig. version didn't have that spring. I just assumed that all direct drive extruders had a spring that keeps the roller pressed against the filament to help it be pushed through. Now I wonder too, was that the problem with the orig. extruder? Did the filament slip sometimes, thereby causing missed layers or other problems? I have a Wanhao which has direct drive and it does have a spring in it. I ran into issues, after a year or so, where the filament would slip and cause problems. Including clogging. I took it apart and found that the spring didn't seem too strong. So I took it out and just stretched it a bit. LOL It worked. After that, no more slipping. So my next question, is here now, in 2024, has there been yet ANOTHER extruder revision/update? And if I went to the store today to buy one, how could I tell, just by looking at it, if it has the old or newest extruder? I'm hearing and seeing so many different things about this K1 Max that I don't know what to believe. So many say that it's amazing, while other seem to have problems with it. I guess that, if I do buy a new printer, that I want one that just works out of the box. I've had way to much TINKERING/TWEAKING time with this F'n Wanhao monster! LOL

make sure if you get one of these little ones make sure it uses the H13 filters and not the H11 then with the H13 u can get ones that help with smoke also i think there purple or it was just that brand

All air purifiers are going to accumulate visible dust on the prefilters - even a heater or air conditioner will get a lot of dust on the prefilters. I strapped an inexpensive prefilter to a fan and it also accumulated a lot of dust. But this does not mean the unit filters particulates well - esp. the most dangerous smaller particulates. Also, this unit has the carbon come last which means it will be putting some carbon in the air we breathe. 😐

The only parts mine required were four star style lock washers to keep the red wheels from drifting. BTW any method that works for leveling a surface is fine. Overthinking is a common trap (I'm also a machinist and mechanic of several decades who finally bought a printer because I've use for thermoplastic parts). Creality wheels have shite loose threads but star washers cost pennies and work as do other anti-rotation methods.

How do you like the sonic pad? Are you still using it? I just got a high flow kit for my S1 pro.. and I’ve had a sonic pad sitting in box for about 6 months.. debating on using an actual raspberry pi 4b or my sonic pad.. I’ve never used klipper so it makes me nervous trying to tackle rasberry pi.. what is your opinion on what I should do??

Can you turn off the annoying beeping? It's insanely loud for no reason. I'm asking if the unit lets you turn it down.
